I've been pondering getting a new machine as it was starting to get difficult to be on video call and do anything else at the same time. I tried macs with touch bars, but no functions keys was a deal-breaker for me. I was considering the &lt;a href="https://frame.work/"&gt;framework laptop&lt;/a&gt;, but ended up getting a new 2021 macpro (base model). &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Though it is apple silicon, I know it was going to be likely problematic, so here is my experience getting most of my python stack working on it.&lt;/p&gt;
